At Camping Šonov, our main aim is to make you feel at home. We believe a relaxed, welcoming and friendly atmosphere is important. However, a few rules are necessary to ensure that everyone’s stay remains pleasant and safe. We therefore ask you to respect the house rules set out below. This way, we can work together to keep the campsite a pleasant place for young and old alike.
Cars are not permitted to be parked at your pitch during your stay. You can park your car in the designated parking spaces at the campsite entrance.
You may only park your car next to your pitch upon arrival and departure to load or unload your belongings. Afterwards, we ask you to return the car to the car park.
Cars are not permitted to drive across the campsite during your stay. This is not only for the sake of peace and quiet, but is particularly important for safety. Children regularly play on the campsite and should not have to worry about cars driving around.
Charging electric cars on the campsite is not permitted. Our electricity supply is not designed to cope with the high power that this may require.
In Broumov, you can charge your car at the town hall at Pivovarská, 550 01 Broumov (4 chargers available)
Campsite guests are welcome from 9.30 am until 8.00 pm.
These times have been chosen deliberately. We want to prevent cars, motorhomes and caravans from driving across the campsite very early in the morning or late in the evening. This is for the peace and quiet of our guests as well as for safety.
Has your departure date changed? Please let the managers know at least one day in advance.
Are you planning to leave very early? Please discuss with the managers how this can best be arranged.
We try to sort waste as effectively as possible on the campsite. There are bins for different types of waste at the entrance to the barn. There are also larger bins at the entrance to the campsite.
We kindly ask you to:
It’s a small effort, but it saves us a lot of work and is better for the environment. Thank you in advance!
Dogs are very welcome at Camping Šonov. However, we do ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the campsite.
Walking dogs on the campsite grounds is not permitted. Please do so outside the campsite grounds.
The dog area is not a toilet area, but a play area where dogs can run and play freely. If, unexpectedly, your dog does its business there, please clean it up. Poop bags are available at the entrance to the dog area.
Would you like to use the washing machine? Please let us know. We’ll switch the machine on for you and can arrange a suitable time with you.
A wash cycle costs 100.00, including detergent.
It’s a good idea to book the washing machine in advance, especially on busy days.
The swimming pool is, of course, there for you to enjoy a swim and cool off. As there is no supervision at the pool, we ask that you pay extra attention to children’s safety.
The gate to the swimming pool must always be closed immediately after you have passed through it. This prevents small children from walking into the pool unnoticed.
Parents and carers are personally responsible for supervising their children. Therefore, never leave children unattended by the swimming pool.
The following rules also apply at the swimming pool:
Thank you for helping us to keep a close eye on these matters. This way, we can keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone!
We, too, need a moment’s rest now and then. That is why, every day (except, of course, in emergencies), we are unavailable between 12.00 and 13.00 and between 19.00 and 20.00, due to lunch and dinner.
Outside these times, we’re happy to be at your service!
Most of these rules are actually self-explanatory. Above all, we ask that you show a little consideration for one another. That way, children can play safely, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet, and Camping Šonov remains the relaxed and welcoming place we strive to be.
Thank you for your cooperation and, above all, enjoy your stay at Camping Šonov!
